Icon™ MaxR™

The Icon™ MaxR™ laser utilizes optimized light technology to permanently reduce and eliminate hair on all skin types, including tanned skin. The Icon™ MaxR™ is also optimized to quickly cover larger areas of the body, such as the back, chest, and legs.

While some lasers are designed to treat lighter skin types, the Icon™ MaxR™ laser is designed for permanent hair reduction on all skin types.

The Icon™ MaxR™ device delivers controlled, precise heat energy into the skin to destroy the hair at the follicle, preventing hair from growing back. Because the Icon™ MaxR™ is a larger device, the laser is better suited to treat larger areas of the body in a shorter amount of time.

As an added benefit, the Icon™ laser system offers contact cooling technology, ensuring a more comfortable experience for all patients.

The Icon™ MaxR™ laser device is placed over the target area(s) in which the patient desires hair reduction. Most patients find the Icon™ MaxR™ a comfortable and tolerable treatment.

Icon™ MaxR™ treatments take less than one hour, although, the length of the appointment is largely dependent upon the patients’ area(s) of concern. Because the treatment requires no downtime, patients are able to resume daily activities immediately following the treatment.
